ADAM M. BERG MA, LMFT
The accumulation of life experiences inevitably leaves us with complicated and unprocessed feelings. These experiences create patterns of thinking, feeling and interacting which often result in our problems and challenges today. Although much of our pain was created in past relationships, healing and growth occurs in our present ones. In beginning to understand why we feel and relate the way we do, we can start to make changes in our lives that elicit more sustained peace, comfort and happiness.
Ultimately, I want to help you find and nurture relationships where you feel seen, heard, understood and supported. Whatever your goals are in therapy, we can get there together. We can look at the past and present with curiosity rather than judgment and set a course forward that ultimately supports your authentic self.
In looking for a therapist, finding the right one can be overwhelming and confusing. I want to make this as easy as possible for you. I have trained in a variety of modalities through the years, and while I typically work from a psychodynamic framework, my focus is always on the person and their unique needs. I approach therapy with curiosity, warmth, and empathy.
Below, you will find the areas in which I specialize in:
Addiction, Relationships, Anxiety, Trauma, & Depression
